Heavenly Mother's Love

God's love for us is so profound! Words really so no justice at all.
Now that we saw through the Bible that God is not only our Father but also our Mother, I suppose that the best way to describe God's love for us is comparing it to the love a Mother has for her children.

Isaiah 66:13 "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you..."

I came across this poem and I wanted to share it with you:

A Mother's Love
by Helen Steiner Rice

A Mother's love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

Even other people feel inside that a mother's love is so profound that it could only come from God. A Mother's love is proof for us that God exists, not just as God our Father but also as God our Mother. take a look at this verse:

Romans 1:19-20 "since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

God's invisible qualities have been clearly seen through what has been made. When we see and feel the love of our natural mother's, we should see and feel the love of our Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem!
